Classic Soul Radio is committed to being a strong community partner. Through the Philanthropy Project, Classic Soul Radio shines the spotlight on local and national non-profit organizations that are working to address critical issues and causes.

Philanthropy Project

The goal of Classic Soul Radio’s Philanthropy Project is to inspire and enable every man, woman, and child to become a philanthropist. We hope to accomplish this by showcasing worthy organizations in our community, presenting their innovative good works, and hopefully present a case why you should support their initiatives or programs with a tax-deductible financial donation.

Please consider the following programs and organizations when making your donations to worthy charities. Thank You!

Help AAPC Combat Domestic Violence

Studies by the U.S. Conference of Mayors and by the U.S. Justice Department indicate that permanent supportive housing is the best housing alternative for survivors of domestic violence. To accomplish this, the African American Planning Commission, a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, based in Brooklyn, New York, is soliciting funds from individuals like you to fund all initial capital development costs. We ask for your support to help build and/or rehabilitate permanent housing with on-site supportive services for formerly homeless survivors of domestic violence. Thank you!
