Classic Soul Radio PSA and CSA Submission Guidelines
Classic Soul Radio publicizes online Public Service Announcements (PSAs) or Community Service Announcements (CSAs) for non-profit organizations and government agencies with the goal of delivering critical messages that benefit the community-at-large. Classic Soul Radio promotes public service campaigns on issue areas such as improving the quality of life for children, preventive health, education, community well being, and strengthening families.
To have your message published online, please remember the following:
- PSAs should benefit the public-at-large. Announcements promoting church attendance or requesting donations will not be considered. Events must strictly be for non-profits: either free to the public, or 100% of all proceeds (not partial) are for charitable donation.
- Announcements must include contact name and contact information – phone number, email address, etc. Please only submit one primary phone number and one contact person for all inquiries about the announcement.
- Non-Profit organizations should submit all requests in writing 2 – 3 weeks before the event is to take place in order to be placed in announcement rotation. Acceptance of a PSA or a CSA does not guarantee usage on-air or on the station’s website and the number of times a PSA or CSA airs cannot be guaranteed. Please submit all announcements a minimum of two weeks in advance.
- Please grant us permission to contact you about your PSA or CSA. This will ensure your event or announcement gets posted properly. We DO NOT share your information and shall only contact you with regards to the PSA or CSA you submitted.
Submit a PSA or CSA
A public service announcement (PSA) or community service announcement (CSA) is a non-commercial announcement for the good of the public. PSAs and CSAs are intended to raise awareness about specific issues. A typical PSA or CSA will be part of a public awareness campaign to inform or educate the public about an issue such as smoking or the hazards of drunk driving.
